1. We have great activities for the Owls. The Video Club just started meeting. Its members are: Rachelle B., Ashton C., Jazmine G., Daria G., Kristin G., Miles J., Adam J., George M., Kaylah P., Alyssa S., Darielle S., Andrianna W. and Caitlyn W.. These Owls will create videos for our school!
   
   
2. Any student in grades 2-4 interested in being in the Principal’s Book Club are encouraged to write a paragraph to Ms. S telling her why they want to join. Paragraphs are due right after spring break.
   
   
3. Our fabulous PTA has so many great events and academic incentives planned for the remainder of the year like the Father/Daughter Dance, Movie Night, and the End of the Year Picnic/Bicycle Raffle. (See page 4)
   
   
4. Testing is coming!!! Please make sure that your Owls in grades 3-5 are well rested and ready for learning each day until testing. We begin April 28. Each grade level will send a memo detailing the days and times of testing. Don’t forget that well prepared Owls will attend a skating party to celebrate!
   
   
5. Math Night will be April 10th for our K-2nd graders! More info is coming soon!
   
   
6. The Young Men and Women of Oxford groups have been formed. These groups are led by Mr. Sullivan and Ms. Connelly and focus on fourth and fifth graders. Look for information on these groups in an upcoming Friday Flyer.
   
   
7. We have many Field Trips this spring! Please make sure that your Owls are on their best behavior as this is a requirement for trips out of the building.
   
   
8. Right to Read Week is a great time of year when we celebrate reading with fun activities!
   
   
9. How are your children’s teeth? We are hosting the Mobile Dentist April 25th.
   
   
10. Come hear the talented Owls sing and play instruments at the Spring Concerts.

Last and most important: It is the last trimester of the school year!! This is your Owl’s time to show their best effort and behavior as they prepare for the next grade.
