At Gearity Professional Development School, we center our experience on providing a comprehensive and integrated education. As a foundation for life-long learning, Gearity will foster thinking skills and problem solving activities. We promote a positive attitude towards education and create positive self-perceptions for our students. The three R’s of Gearity include: Respect for oneself, respect for others, and respect for the environment. This serves as the foundation for our Soaring Stars Positive Behavior Program, in conjunction with our daily study of character education.

Our campus is home to the District’s professional development program, in partnership with John Carroll University, where students are supported by Gearity staff, university professors, and education students. Also unique to the Gearity campus is the District’s Early Childhood Center. This program, with a separate entrance, is housed in a wing accommodating six classrooms, a sensory room, and a playground, highlighting our commitment to providing high-quality preschool services to children ages 3 – 5.
